My name is Mariko Adams. I am originally from Japan. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2003 and moved to Florida. I LOVE Florida very much! I was a midwife in Japan for three years and had amazing experiences through childbirth. It was a beautiful and powerful experience every time.

I first encountered Henna in 2005, when my friend Deidra , an artist, did a Henna design on my foot at a party. The next day, I woke up, saw my feet and was just amazed by how wonderful the design was! I really thought “BEAUTIFUL!” and I was so HAPPY! To say the least, it really left an impression on my SOUL! Since then I can’t stop learning and expanding my world with Henna. Spreading the beauty of art, with people as my canvas, is my wonderful pleasure and privilege!

When I do Henna, each design is different. I truly believe that I connect to a person’s inner beauty and express it in the design they receive.
