Since 1982 we have proudly made thousands of children happy by bringing our cute little ponies to their birthday parties, church preschool, or neighborhood festivals. Decorated for any theme, our ponies and horses give the children a ride around the yard, park, or driveway. They are well-behaved, socialized, and safe so that the children can have fun and the parents can take pictures. Competitive pricing and flexibility in scheduling are very important to us. Our priority is safety, then fun. Our goal is to make sure every child that wants to ride a pony, gets to do just that. We offer hand-led pony rides, carousel pony rides with 4, 5, or 6 ponies, and horseback riding. Private parties at your place or ours. Camps and lessons available year round. This business started by my mom, Kay, in 1982 as a rescued group of ponies. Some were headed to the meat packing plant in south Atlanta, other were unwanted, and worst of all, were the abused ones. For $1, you could go to the SHOWBIZ PIZZERIA on Jimmy Carter Blvd. on the weekends and ride a pony. This money paid for the hay and feed of what came to be 70 ponies! Since then, I have taken over and reduced the heard to 20. The new name “The Mane Event Pony Parties, LLC” was chosen because these ponies are always to main attraction at any event. My mom, who is now in an assisted living home, has officially retired and so has the name “Kay’s Ponies”. As the legacy continues, we still provide the most charming, best behaved ponies and horses for private birthday parties, corporate events, church and school festivals, holiday celebrations, and much more. We also have a rolling barnyard, aka petting zoo, full of traditional farm animals with not so traditional behavior. These farm animals are very socialized and friendly. Even the bunnies are ready to be loved by the children. And then there’s our traveling hayride. Pulled by a tractor, it’s one of the only hayrides in the metro Atlanta area that comes to you. We will have a train ride by October for the little children to enjoy. It’s made out of barrels and is to be pulled by a smaller tractor. We dress the ponies up for any occasion. Pink and purple ribbons with matching tack adorn our friendly little ponies upon request. We also have halters with cowboy/cowgirl fringe if the party is a western theme. Our “unicorns” are a hit with the little girls who love to pretend they are little princesses’. We offer pink and green John Deere attire, Halloween themed décor, and reindeer antlers for Christmas events, just to name a few. Just let us know the theme and we will arrive dressed for the occasion. Our birthday parties consist of 2 ponies or 1 pony/1horse for 1 hour as a minimum. You can add an extra 30 minutes or an hour, which is usually plenty for any child’s birthday party. We are always flexible with our customers. Double licensed with USDA and insured.
